Need help with regard to structuring my courses.
I am working on a course driven LMS site with multiple courses with the following structure: Course > Subject > Chapter > Topic ======================================== For example: Courses: 1) MS (Computer Science) 2) MS (Biology) 3) MS (Organic Chemistry) Subjects: (each course would have maybe 16-24 subjects) MS (CS): A) CS 6241 Design and Implementation of Compilers ![]() C) CS 6210 Advanced Operating Systems etc. Chapters: (each subject would have 4-12 chapters) CS 6210 Advanced Operating Systems: i) Unix ii) Solaris iii) Linux Topics: (each chapter would have 8-30 topics) Linux: X) Kernel Y) Drivers Z) Bootloader ==================================== Students will be enrolled for specific courses (usually one course per student), and the actual lesson content will be at the Topic level, with tests/quizzes being at Topic/Chapter/Subject levels. Also reporting needs to be possible at the Subject/Course levels (completion %, time spent, quiz scores, etc.). Another requirement being ability to group users by institution (the revenue model is institutional sale based, hence user activation/deactivation/enrollment as well as reporting is based on institutions paying/renewing for a particular course. Given these requirements, I would request help with designing the concept in LMS King Pro. |

Hi,
would you care to share how you resolved it for everyone to see. Perhaps even a link to your Certifications listing page. |
