Are standard settings available for Teachers, Assistants and Students in Lms King Permissions?

I've missed that. But since the solution could be found in the install software. I found the link: index.php?option=com_lmsking&task=acl Copy/paste that in the url. And the permissions are set after all.

As I have previously mentioned to you. When you install the component, on the last step, there is a CLICK HERE link in big red letters.
If you click it, the installer will create the Student, Assistant and Teacher Groups and set the default permissions for those groups.

HOWEVER, the permissions are only as default, you should go to the component options and set them as you need them.

On a further note: If you are using a NON English Joomla installation, you need to create the Students, Teachers and Assistants user groups first, Set hte parent group as Registered.

A couple of questions to clarify.

1. Is it possible to set permissions so that users can only access certain certification paths / courses?

Our goal is to have a set of courses for available to all users and some courses only available to some users.

2. Can we set pre-requisites on courses? If so, how is this done?

We want some courses to be completed before a user can move on to a other different courses.

Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,

Degarrin

No you can't set permissions like this and pre requisites work at the lesson level only.
